A jobs program for lawyers. Jonathan Weil notes how companies bailed out by TARP are now suing each other. In at least one case, the the litigatants are both majority-owned by the taxpayers. And Freddie Mac is suing the IRS! That means you, Mr. and Ms Taxpayer, are paying the lawyers for both sides. And these lawyers make better money than most of us do. What a great country.

This guy doesn't even know that the Teamsters quite publicly split with the AFL-CIO just a few years ago, after a long history of hostility between the two.
